摘要

AC motor speed control is very critical particularly in applications where precision and protection are of spirit.Different methods utilizing solid-state switches are available for a accurate control for speed and protection of AC motor.In this paper,the use of microcontroller 86hc11 for target speed control and protection of ac motor is presented.Adjustable speed drive for single-phase motors can be achieved through voltage amplitude control.In this work,implementation of adjustable closed-loop control for ac motor drive system is presented using microcontroller M68HC11E9 because of its simplicity and flexibility.The advances in domestic and commercial applications in modern life raised the urgent needs to use low power SPIM.As a consequence,the SPIM has become the most widely used type of low power ac motors for those applications where regulating speed is of essence and three- phase power source is not available.
