PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-bulk density granular detergent excellent in detergency and fluidity, with no residues left in clothing or washers after used, by incorporating specific spray-dried granules with a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether and crystalline silicate powder followed by crushing the mixture and then conducting granulation. ;SOLUTION: (A) Spray-dried granules containing e.g. 10-40wt.%, based on the final detergent, of a nonsoapy anionic surfactant (A1) and 1.5-5wt.% in volatiles content is incorporated, during crushing or granulating the component A, with (B) 0.8-5wt.%, based on the final detergent, of a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether (e.g. prepared by adding 4-12mol, on average, of ethylene oxide to a 12-15C (12-13C on average) higher alcoohol) and (C) 1-10wt.%, based on the final detergent, of crystalline silicate powder (e.g. 1-40μm in average particle diameter), thus obtaining the objective high-bulk density granular detergent ≥0.65g/cm3 in bulk density.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
