PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stabilized operations of braking lever by energizing the looseness or play of the braking lever with a spring in its shaft direction and simplify its constitution. ;SOLUTION: A recess 1c is formed on the base of the leg which is projected upward from the reel main body, a cover plate 2 is fixed with a screw 11, a braking lever 3 and a spring 4 are embedded in the recess 1c and the brake lever 3 is rotatably supported by the bearings at a screw 13 and at a screwed cylinder shaft 12 supported by bearings on the base 1b and the cover plate 2. The braking lever 3 is energized with a spring 4 in the direction that the brake 3c in the brake lever 3 is made apart from the brake in the rotor 15 and in the shaft direction that the side part 3d of the brake lever 3 comes into contact with the inner wall of the recess 1c of the reel main body 1, respectively.
