PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous-suction type microsampling system and a microcapillary of the same type utilized for collecting a microsample of, for example, 100 μm or smaller, such as foreign matters mixed in industrial products (which include intermediate products) films, plastics, coating films, etc., by cutting or exfoliation.;SOLUTION: A microknife for sampling for industrial purposes is provided with a blade, made of a material of Morse hardness of 6 or higher and is capable of cutting and exfoliating a sample of 50 μm or smaller. The microsample of a size of 1-100 μm collected by the microknife is transferred to a sample base, through the use of the continuous-suction type microcapillary to perform sampling in the continuous-suction type microsampling system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
