(57) Abstract Mainly the timing drive of the automobile, being the chain drive system (58) which is used with V type engine and the horizontal opposition engine which possess the separate chain drive every bank (60 and 72) which possesses the especially coaxial crankshaft drive sprocket (66 and 80), in order to make the noise level of the chain drive system decrease, connection of the chain (70 and 82) of these drive sprockets crosses between the bank (60 and 70). totosutorandogaido (70a and 82a) of on the one hand bank (60 and 72) to be more than the opposite bank the offset it does this engagement phasing, makes the chain lap increase (94) effectively, it is achieved by making roller - sprocket engagement delay vis-a-vis the opposite bank. Collision of the roller while being connected is shifted between the bank, also the noise level which occurs from here decreases the result of this phase control.
