PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector capable of moderating an impact applied onto a shackle even in collision to prevent damage and falling-down of a conveyed object, and the shackle with a protection function.;SOLUTION: The two protectors 11 are used as one pair, fixing means are provided to fix respective protectors 11 in both sides of the plane hanging hook 21 folded to hold a shaft of a roller 22 in the shackle 20 in its both sides, the protector has a size capable of covering completely left and right sides in an outline of the roller 22 under a condition attached to the shackle 20, the protector is constituted of a plate having an inverted substantially trapezoidal shape under a condition attached to the shackle 20 and suspended, an upper part in a slope 13 of the inverted trapezoidal shape is brought into a vertical face 12, and a line of intersection of the slope face 13 and the vertical face 12 is located in an upper side of a rotary shaft of the roller 22 under the suspended condition. The vertical face 12 contacts at first in the collision, then the first hanging hook 21 is rotated to contact with the slope face 13, and the impact applied onto the roller 22 is moderated thereby.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
