PIPE JACKING GUIDE IMPLEMENT FOR SLEEVE JACKING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly jack and guide a new pipe to various kinds of sleeves having small and large diameters.;SOLUTION: A pipe jacking guide implement 10 is used for a jacking method in which a pipeline is newly constructed in the sleeve P' while a spigot 1 of a pipe P is inserted into a socket 2 of the preceding pipe P so as to be joined to it. Arc-shaped split pieces 11 are coupled together via a fastening piece 12 by a bolt and a nut 14; and a roller 7 can be attached to the bolt 14. When a difference between diameters of the new pipe P and the sleeve P' is small, the roller 7 can be attached for use to the bolt 14. An attachment 20 with the roller 7 is attached between the fastening pieces 12 and 12. When the roller 7 is attached to the bolt 14, the implement 10 with the attachment 20 is used in contact of a part, except the roller 7, of the implement 10. In this case, since the roller 7 is located outside the implement 10, the part except the roller 7 is not brought into contact with an inner surface of the sleeve P', and the new pipe P is smoothly jacked and guided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
