PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device capable of flexibly and efficiently solving the conflict in use in a digital network such as home digital network.;SOLUTION: The conflict is generated when a second application 2' wants to access a resource used for a first purpose by a first application for a second purpose. In such a case, in this method, a change to the actual request to a network component which can simultaneously attain the first purpose and the second purpose is retrieved. Namely, the actual request to the resource by the second application 2' is changed by postponement, while the purpose at the root of the request is unchanged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
