PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microhole array in which holes for inserting or supporting optical components such as optical fibers and lenses are arrayed with excellent positional/dimensional accuracy and narrow pitch and in which a material having a low thermal expansion coefficient is used for the structure.;SOLUTION: The microhole array 11 is equipped with a plurality of holes 10 for the purpose of inserting or supporting optical fibers or lenses. The array is composed of a plurality of tubular parts 12 each of which has the hole 10 and a body base material 13 closely provided on the entirety or a part of the outer circumferential face of the tubular parts 12.
