PURPOSE: To analyze the salt content even in a low concentration quickly and precisely by concentrating the salts, which were dissolved in an absorbent liquid and ionized, using an ion concentrating means such as an ion concentrating column. ;CONSTITUTION: A salt content analyzing device concerned comprises a sampling part A, ion concentrating part B, ion chromatography part C, and control part D. In the sampling part A, a suction pump 4 is driven to exhaust the air from a catching vessel 2 to the outside via an exhaust pipe 43 and a flow meter 3. Thereby the air is passed through an air intake 1, supply pipe 41, leadout part 42 and fed into an absorbent liquid 5 from a leadout hole 42a so as to generate bubbling. Thus the salts contained in the atmospheric air are dissolved in the absorbent, liquid 5, caught, and dissociated into ions. The absorbent liquid 5 with the salts dissolved is concentrated in the concentrating part B composed of ion concentrating columns 27, 28 and associate facilities.
