PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent for measuring formaldehyde which can easily detect and quantitatively measure the formaldehyde.;SOLUTION: The provided reagent for measuring the formaldehyde includes a specific aromatic amine as an active principle having a carbonyl group such as 3-amino-4-diphenylprop-2-ene-1-one. The formaldehyde in a sample to be tested can be easily measured with sufficient accuracy. In particular, in the case of a passive state of the solid phase, the reagent is easily treated and carried, and the formaldehyde can be so easily measured only by leaving the solidified reagent in the sample to be tested such as air in a room.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
