PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate with higher accuracy the rotating position error of an electronic component based on the position of a plurality of images to be picked up for the electronic component provided with a plurality of objects to be picked up such as a plurality of lead wires or the like.;SOLUTION: Gradient of a solid straight line L1 which is the main element of all real positions P1 is calculated by analysis of main element based on the real position P1 of a plurality of objects to be picked up of the electronic component D1. The target straight line L2 as the main element of the target position P2 which is the position of the part to be picked up of the regular electronic component D2 at the regular position is also calculated in the same manner. Based on the difference of gradients of these calculated real straight line L1 and the target straight line L2, the rotating position error Δθ of the electronic component D1 can be obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
