PURPOSE: To accurately decide the reference position of a rotational shaft by an encoding plate for detecting a rotating angular position with a simple structure. ;CONSTITUTION: The encoding plate for detecting a rotating angular position comprises first through holes 32 provided at N positions (N is arbitrary integer) in the circumferential direction to detect a specific position and second through holes 33 provided at the N positions in the direction to detect a region.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
