PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hexavalent chromium-containing wastewater treatment method forming flocks in turbid water discharged in concrete construction or the like and generating reducing reaction in hexavalent chromium to sediment and separate chromium hydroxide and obtaining harmless clean supernatant water to discharge the same.;SOLUTION: In a wastewater treatment method for turbid water containing hexavalent chromium in cement, carbon dioxide is mixed with turbid water as a PH control agent and a treatment agent, which is prepared by mixing ferrous sulfate being a reducing agent of hexavalent chromium with a calcium type inorganic salts being a flocculant for a hardly flocculated slurry other than hexavalent chromium and an organic polymeric flocculant, is mixed with turbid water not only to detoxify hexavalent chromium in turbid water but also to form and sediment flocs.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
