PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection structure and a protection buffer body method for water barrier normal plane in final disposal plant which reliably protect a water barrier sheet which is laid in a man-made surface of a final disposal plant from the breakage on a reclamation and form a protection layer which is inexpensive and stable.;SOLUTION: This protection structure and protection buffer body method of water barrier normal plane in final disposal plant is provided with the water barrier sheet 4 which is laid in the developed land surface 2 of the final disposal plant 1 and the buffer bodies 5 which are made by filling buffer material 10 including the wood pieces 11' which are obtained by cutting the wood 11 generated at least on the field preparation into bag bodies 9 which are formed with net bodies 6, 7 made of corrosion-resistant material and inner partitions 8 and, therein, the buffer bodies 5 are densely laid in a contour line shape and form a buffer layer on the water barrier sheet 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
