PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent being excellent in safety wherein the peripheral edge section of the stent does not damage blood vessels even when being made to reside for a long period of time since the stent is made of a Ni-Ti based alloy having a shape memory effect without ultra-elasticity, and a stent of which the rearrangement or the recovery is possible; and an in-vivo releasing utensil which can smoothly carry the stent to a target region, and can safely and surely make the stent reside. PSOLUTION: This stent has shape memory property at least at a physiological temperature by heat-treating the stent at 350C or higher for 1 minute to 100 hours in an inertia atmosphere. At the same time, the stent is formed into a shape having a cross section of an approximate C-shape or a semi-circular shape using the Ni-Ti based alloy without ultra-elasticity or pseudoelasticity. In this case, at least one cut section is formed on the outer peripheral edge section of the stent. This in-vivo releasing utensil carries the stent to the target region, and makes the stent indwell.
