PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method for a concrete placing form, and the concrete placing form of high durability, recyclable, reduced in weight, improved in workability and causing no leakage into a concrete form.;SOLUTION: The concrete placing form is made of plastic, and has a hollow sheathing board part 32 with one face used as a concrete placing face 31, and hollow side plate parts 33 bent at a right angle from both side edges of the sheathing board part 32 onto the opposite side to the concrete placing face 31 of the sheathing board part 32. In the machining method for the concrete placing form, an outer surface 38 of the side plate part 33 of the concrete placing form is melted in a horizontal direction by a heating body 41 to form a groove part in the side plate part 33 of the concrete placing form.
