PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance maneuvering performance by quickly, easily, accurately and efficiently performing a course change of a water jet propulsion ship regardless the magnitude of a rudder angle.;SOLUTION: A flap is mounted to both sides of a stern of the water jet propulsion ship, and a direction changing operation by a nozzle and the flap in a water jet propulsion device via a steering device are selectively switched to enable a reasonable use, thereby carrying out the course change.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
