SENTENCE END EXPRESSION SIMPLIFYING DEVICE, METHOD THEREFOR, AND SENTENCE END EXPRESSION SIMPLIFYING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the sentence end expression of a sentence to be simplified by a simple system without using a large-scale system for morpheme analysis and syntax analysis. SOLUTION: A character string pattern of a sentence end of the sentence to be simplified and a sentence end simplifying method corresponding to the character string pattern are prepared in advance. When obtaining the sentence to be simplified, the character string pattern of the sentence end of the sentence to be simplified is compared with a character string pattern registered in advance. When the character string expression of the sentence end of the sentence to be simplified agrees with the registered character string pattern, the sentence end simplifying method set in the character string pattern is applied to the sentence end of the sentence to be simplified. For example, when the sentence end is a conjugated form of the sa column of the kana (Japanese syllabary) of the word 'provide' (teikyosuru), the sa column conjugated part is deleted to express the word 'provide' (teikyo) in this sentence end simplifying method.
