PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the labor for manually opening and closing a door-type valve at a rice paddy rice several hundreds m or several km remote from the own house to feed water because the water in the rice paddy is naturally decreased (penetrates into the ground), because the water depth at the rice paddy is required to be kept between the lower limit of 1 cm and the upper limit of 3 cm after the transplantation from May to September. ;SOLUTION: The control of the water depth in the growing period of the paddy rice (from May to September) is exactly carried out because the opening and closing of the valve for the makeup water by a ball cock is driven by an electric source regulated by the movement of a float sensor moving upper and loser so as to correspond to the natural decrease of the water (penetration into the ground) at the rice paddy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
