PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such as insufficient roof material lift preventing action in a strongly windy environment and the like in a construction method for roofing in the opposite direction to the roof flow direction while hooking and overlapping an engagement part onto a locking projection bar by using a metallic roofing material, in which the locking projection bar projecting on the surface is arranged along the upper side closely to the upper side of a rectangular metallic plate main body while the engagement part rolled up to the back side along the lower side is arranged close to the lower side.;SOLUTION: In the engagement part 6 arranged close to the lower side 5 in the roofing material 1, a bending hooking piece 23 is formed, while a pressing metal fitting 15 is attached to the locking projection bar 4 arranged close to the upper side 3. When a suspension piece 16 arranged in the pressing metal fitting 15 and the hooking piece 23 are engaged together, a uplift of the roofing material 1 due to wind can be surely prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
