PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which an asymmetric SPR curve usable for measuring the SPR of gold more appropriately than the equation of the Kretchmann's SPR curve can be decided.;SOLUTION: This method is constituted to accurately decide a surface plasmon resonance angle based on the fitting equation of an asymmetric surface plasmon resonance curve derived from the three-layer Fresnel equation for P-polarization at the time of measuring the state of a material, by utilizing a surface plasmon resonance phenomenon by using a surface plasmon resonance sensor system composed of three layers of a prism, a thin metallic film, and a sensing layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
