STEPPING OPENING AND CLOSING TYPE CLOSET SEAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping opening and closing closet seat in which a closet seat cover and the closet seat can be automatically opened and closed only by stepping on a pedal in a standing position when a man disabled in his hand or waist urinates.;SOLUTION: A lever 10 having the pedal 13 attached to one end side is attached to a support base 7 so as to freely rotate. The lower end of an arm 11 whose upper part is connected to the closet seat 2 so as to freely rotate is connected to the other end of the lever 10 so as to freely rotate. An air bag 19 is provided between the upper part of a closet pot and the closet seat. The air bag 19 communicates with a stepping type air pump 8 provided in the lower part of the pedal 13 through a hose 20. The pedal 13 is stepped by a foot to rotate the lever 10, raise the closet seat 2 and expand the air bag 19. When the pedal 13 is released, the closet seat 2 is lowered due to a dead weight while the closet seat 2 pushes back air in the air bag 19 to the air pump 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
