PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide suitable information relating to various kinds of facilities giving a route to barrier-free facilities such as a restroom for a handicapped persons or to a destination for pedestrians, particularly pedestrians or the like having chances to have difficulty in moving like elderly persons or handicapped persons.;SOLUTION: This pedestrian facility guide system has a pedestrian position/ direction computing part 30 for detecting the position and the direction of pedestrians based on a signal from a GPS antenna installed even on the pedestrians; and a facility guide output part 33 for outputting, to the pedestrians, the guide of the various kinds of facilities on map data located in predetermined distances around them based on the detection result of the computing part 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
