PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly guide pedestrians through routes to destinations by controlling a control object apparatus such as an elevator located on the walking route of the pedestrians.;SOLUTION: This pedestrian route guide system has a data storage part 21 for storing an electronic map wherein natural feature objects for the pedestrians to walk through are stored; a control object apparatus control command storing part 22 wherein control commands for controlling the control object apparatus to be controlled for the pedestrian are stored by relating them to a predetermined feature object; a pedestrian position/direction computing part 25 for detecting the position of the pedestrian on the electronic map; and a control object apparatus control part 28 for controlling the control object apparatus by extracting the command to the control object apparatus from the storing part 23 when the pedestrians reside in natural feature objects in the vicinity of the control object apparatus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
