PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide parts and members which have improved high-temperature strength and also superior hot workability and can be used under exposure to an oxidizing atmosphere at high temperature, e.g. automotive parts such as spark-plug electrodes, parts for electrical generation facilities such as gas- turbine nozzles, internal parts for heat treatment furnaces and parts for fuel cells.;SOLUTION: The Ni-base alloy having excellent oxidation resistance, high- temperature strength and hot workability has a composition containing, by mass, 0.003 to 0.1% C, ≤1.0% Si, ≤2.0% Mn, 12 to 32% Cr, ≤20% Fe and 0.001 to 0.04% Mg as essential elements, also containing ≤2.5% of one or more elements selected from Nb, Ta and V as selective elements, containing, as impurities, ≤0.01% S (where Mg/S≥1 is satisfied) and ≤0.02% (including 0%) Ti, and having the balance Ni with inevitable impurities excluding the above.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
