Hl-2 PROTEIN DERIVED FROM HAEMAPHYSALIS LONGICORNIS HAVING BLOOD CLOTTING INHIBITION ACTIVITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new protein having blood clotting inhibition activity. SOLUTION: The present invention provides an Hl-2 protein which is a new protein derived from Haemaphysalis longicornis and provide an Hl-2 gene encoding the protein. The Hl-2 protein has blood clotting inhibition activity and, accordingly, pharmaceuticals containing the Hl-2 protein as an active component are useful as a blood clotting inhibition agent for the treatment and prevention of myocardial infarction, pulmonary infarction and cerebral infarction. The Hl-2 protein is highly expectable also in the field for the development of pharmaceuticals as a leading compound of a blood clotting inhibitor.
