PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for modifying boiled rice to become rice cakes, rice boiled together with red beans and dough for dumpling, rice-dumpling wrapped in bamboo leaves, starch paste and other processed foods. ;SOLUTION: Non-glutinous rice or glutinous rice is polished until the yield of the rice reaches about 70-85%, the polished rice is washed with water, immersed in water, subjected to steam action and steamed until the weight of steamed rice reaches ≥ about 1.60 times that of the polished rice.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
