PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a vehicle turn signal lamp and an alarm lamp are mistakenly recognized and an irreparable error occurs since they are provided adjacent to each other while the vehicle turn signal lamp utilizes an alarm lamp of a separate vehicle turn signal lamp, and the alarm lamp is lit or flashed on the opposite side to the advancing direction. ;SOLUTION: In a vehicle turn signal lamp which is also used for an alarm lamp, the vehicle turn signal lamp and the alarm lamp are respectively provided, the advancing direction is displayed on the vehicle turn signal lamp, the alarm lamp is simultaneously operated with the vehicle turn signal lamp on the opposite side, and a person recognizing the alarm lamp can visually recognize the advancing direction of the vehicle from the opposite side. The vehicle turn signal lamp and the alarm lamp comprise at least a separating means for allowing a person to reliably identifying both lamps, an identifying mechanism, and a recognizing means. When the vehicle turn signal lamp on one side displays the right turn or the left turn, the alarm lamp on the other side is lit, and the person recognizing the alarm lamp can recognize the advancing direction of the vehicle without visually recognizing the vehicle turn signal lamp on one side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
