PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure between an RC column and a steel beam, which is reinforced in terms of rigidity and shearing force, contributes to cost cutting, and protects internal concrete from being damaged.;SOLUTION: According to the joint structure between the RC column and the steel bream, reinforcing steel plates each having an opening at the center thereof or having no opening are piled up at predetermined intervals therebetween for penetrating column main bars, and reinforcements are arranged between the reinforcing steel plates as needed. Therefore, concrete at a joint portion is divided into layers and confined as the layers, which contributes to protection of the concrete from being damaged and to drastic reinforcement of compressive strength and shearing force.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
