SHIELDING DEVICE FOR PROTECTING OCCUPANT FROM DAZZLING LIGHT, HEAT RAY AND ULTRAVIOLET RAY COMING FROM SIDE WINDOW OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate negative effect of an ultraviolet ray on the human body by a shielding device used in the case where an occupant in a vehicle directly receives rays of the sun from a side window of the vehicle, reduce discomfort, and sick feeling in health caused by setting a temperature of a vehicular air conditioner to that lower than necessary, because of hotness which the occupant feels by heat rays received directly on his head and face portions, thereby reducing unnecessary setting of a low temperature, reducing load on an engine of the vehicle to reduce fuel consumption, and decreasing effects on a global environment to aim recovery of the global environment. ;SOLUTION: When shielding direct rays of the sun coming from the side window of the vehicle, a shielding plate of synthetic resin housed in two guide rails arranged in a ceiling of the vehicle is slid to the side window of the vehicle through which the direct rays of the sun comes in.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
