PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board member, a joint construction for the board member and a wall panel on which the board member is attached to the surface; the board member which has an upper protruded portion projected out from the front surface side to the rear surface side at the edge portion of the board member and a lower projected portion with the rear surface side of the board member projected out to the outer side more than the rear surface side; at least one part of the upper projected portion and the lower projected portion is linked and a plurality of boards are jointed but no breakage of an upper projected portion or a lower projected portion occurs even through the board thickness is reduced.;SOLUTION: An upper projected portion 11 and a lower projected portion 12 for jointing by shiplap joint or rabbet joint are provided at the edge portion of the board member 1, and at least a part of the upper projected portion 11 and the lower projected portion 12 is formed to decrease their thickness from the base end parts 11t and 12t.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
