PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string tightener designed to facilitate the work to tighten, tie and fix a strongly pulled string by exchange of the string after erecting a bridge (16) and investigating an interval. SOLUTION: This string tightener of a koto strongly tightens the string (15) of the koto in a return direction by an inclination (3) of a movable piece (2) and a projection (7) of an inclination type attached to one side flank on the inner side of a main body.
