FRESH WATER AND SEAWATER BACK WASHING AND FILTERING SYSTEM FOR SEAWATER FILTERING DEVICE IN WATER TREATMENT FACILITY OF AQUARIUM OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fresh water and seawater back washing and filtering system for a seawater filtering device which performs back washing of the seawater filtering device for a water treatment facility of an aquarium or the like by using inexpensive fresh water, recycles a portion of the waste water of back washing by circulating the waste water, reduces the consumption of the seawater transported from remote, reduces the running cost of the waste water facility, achieves the automation and manpower saving of operation, realizes the restoration of the water treatment function by the seawater filtering device in an early period and can save an equipment cost.;SOLUTION: This fresh water and seawater back washing and filtering system subjects the waste water from an exhibition seawater tank 1 to clean in the seawater filtering device 3 and back washes the seawater filtering device 3 by using the fresh after lapse of the prescribed time. The contaminated waste water in the initial period of the back washing is sent to flow to a sewage treatment facility and the relatively less contaminated brackish waste water produced by the back washing of the fresh water is sent to flow to a brackish water storage tank 6 for back washing and is utilized as the initial water for back washing of the seawater filtering device 3. After the interior of the filter device 3 is replaced with the fresh water, the filter device 3 is back washed by the new fresh water and the interior of the filter device 3 is replaced with the seawater. The resultant brackish waste water is utilized as the replenishing water of the exhibition brackish tank 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
