PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for relatively easily inoculating liquid spawn without significantly changing spawn inoculation facilities, to provide a readily portable packing bag for packing liquid spawn. PSOLUTION: The flexible liquid-spawn packing bag 2 in which liquid spawn B is subdivided and packed into small sizes from a spawn reserving tank 1 in which the liquid spawn B is stored while cultured under sterile conditions. The method for inoculating liquid spawn B comprises the following processes: a process of taking out spawn from the liquid-spawn packing bag 2 subdivided into small sizes under sterile conditions to supply the liquid spawn B to a liquid- spawn spraying mechanism 30 via a spawn supplying pipe 4 under pressure, and a run-off-amount setting process of performing switching operation to spray a predetermined amount of the liquid spawn to culture medium C in a cultivation container 18 from a spraying nozzle 36 provided on the liquid-spawn spraying mechanism under pressure.
