ULTRASONIC FUSION METHOD AND FUSION DEVICE FOR REINFORCEMENT TAPE TO FASTENER TAPE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusion method of a reinforcement tape with a space part of a fastener chain by fusing a core cord part with a tape main body part by ultrasonic heating in proper conditions, and a fusion device for this purpose. PSOLUTION: Reinforcement tape pieces 1 and 2 of synthetic resin are fused with fastener tapes 6 and 7 along the core parts 6a and 7a and the tape main body parts 6b and 7b at an opening/fitting piece mounting part of the slide fastener chain 3. Fusing time and/or amplitude proper for the reinforcement tape pieces 1 and 2 to be fused with the core parts 6a and 7a and around the core parts, and fusing time and/or amplitude proper for the reinforcement tape pieces 1 and 2 to be fused with the tape main parts 6b and 7b are set in advance. Fusion of the reinforcement tape pieces 1 and 2 with the core parts 6a and 7a and around the core parts and fusion of the reinforcement tape pieces with the tape main body parts 6b and 7b are conducted in two stages based on the set fusing time or amplitude.
