PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GCT semiconductor device, which can easily be fitted to a gate drive device and a heat sink and enables water cooling of a GCT thyristor. ;SOLUTION: The GCT semiconductor device, equipped with the GCT thyristor, includes the GCT thyristor including an element with a GCT thyristor element formed therein and an anode plate and a cathode plate laminated across the element, a press-contacting means which presses and fixes the GCT thyristor, a package which hermetically enclose the GCT thyristor, and a connecting means which connects the gate of the GCT thyristor provided in the package to the gate drive device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
