PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the feed rate of paddy by preventing the hunting in a mixed rice tank which occurs when the mixed rice is fed excessively large or little.;SOLUTION: This device adjusts the paddy feed rate to a shelling section by interconnecting a sensing valve (2) activated by the fluctuation in the increase or decrease of the amount in the mixed rice tank (1) for feeding the mixed rice to a separating section and a paddy feed rate adjusting valve (3) and is constituted by interposing two mechanisms; a paddy feed rate adjusting mechanism (X) and a paddy feed interruption mechanism (Y) in the interlocking constitution of the sensing valve (2) and the paddy feed rate adjusting valve (3) to perform the adjustment and interruption of the paddy feed rate. At this time, the paddy feed rate adjusting mechanism (X) is recommended to be taken over to the paddy feed interruption mechanism (Y) and the amount of activation of the paddy feed rate adjusting valve (3) by the paddy feed rate adjusting mechanism (X) is made small and the amount of activation of the paddy feed rate adjusting valve (3) by the paddy feed interruption mechanism (Y) is made large.
