PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical grinder using a flat grinding wheel for rough finishing and interior finishing and a straight cup grinding wheel for continuous, short and stable finishing work with a chuck once, offering highly precise surface roughness, allowing the use of a small-diameter grinding wheel, requiring less power and reducing the amount of deformation due to heat.;SOLUTION: A sleeve 2 having a flange portion 2a formed at one end and a screw portion 2b provided at the other end is rotatably mounted on the outer periphery of a fixed spindle 1 fixed and supported at both sides. A pulley 3 is fixed to the flange portion 2a of the sleeve 2. A flat grinding wheel unit A having at least a flat grinding wheel 5 mounted on the sleeve 3 is mounted on a wheel spindle stock and a straight cup grinding wheel unit B is also mounted on the wheel spindle stock 7 together therewith.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
