PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceramics precursor which has excellent treatability and workability, and to provide a method for producing a porous calcium phosphate based ceramics sintered compact obtained by using the same.;SOLUTION: The porous calcium phosphate based ceramics sintered compact having a porosity of 75 to 95% is produced by (1) the production of slurry containing calcium phosphate based ceramics powder, a water soluble polymer compound, a nonionic surfactant, and a thermoplastic resin, (2) the violent stirring of the slurry to cause foaming, (3) its gelatinization, (4) the fusion of a thermoplastic resin at 200 to 300°C after drying the gel, and (5) its sintering.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
