PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel paste for forming a dried film with high density, by solving a problem of ununiformity on the particle surface of a nickel powder for an internal electrode of a laminated ceramic capacitor, and imparting the powder excellent dispersibility in the paste.;SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the nickel paste comprises adding water to the nickel powder with grain sizes of 0.1-1.0 μm when measured by SEM photography or the nickel powder before desiccation, polishing the particle surface of the nickel powder in a wet process by using a wet-type grinding mill, and making an existing form of the nickel on the particle surface of the nickel powder to be substantially all nickel hydroxide, when the surface layer is analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), to provide the nickel paste for the internal electrode of the laminated ceramic capacitor with the dry film density of 5.0 g/cm3 or higher from the nickel powder obtained thereby.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
