PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of combination treatment for dementia or cognition disturbance relating to Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease in mammals including the human beings. SOLUTION: A D4-dopamine receptor is administered in combination with an acetylcholine esterase inhibitor to a mammal. Further, by using a pbarmaceutical composition containing a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, a D4-dopamine receptor and an acetylcholine esterase inhibitor. The pharmaceutical composition is useful for treating dementia or cognition disturbance relating to Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease.
