PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mediation method, reservation possibility inquiring system, a mediation device, in which quickness is improved by shortening the integral response time and the deterioration of the working efficiency of a person in charge on the reserved object side is prevented when a plurality of agents such as travel agencies respectively inquire the possibility of reservation for reserved objects such as the rooms of a hotel, and to provided a computer program, and a recording medium.;SOLUTION: The inquiry about the possibility of reservation between each of inquiry terminal equipment 30, 30, and so on and a management device 20 to be used for the management of reserved objects 200a is mediated by a mediation device 10. When an answer to inquiry information to inquire about the possibility of reservation transmitted from one inquiry terminal equipment 30 through the mediation device 10 to the management device 20 is that the reservation is impossible, the inquiry result information based on the answer is transmitted not only to one inquiring terminal equipment 30 being the inquiry origin but also to the other inquiring terminal equipment 30 and so on.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
