INDIGO-TONED MULTICOLOR DYEABLE YARN, INDIGO-TONED MULTICOLOR DYEABLE CLOTH, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING YARN HAVING INDIGO-TONED MULTICOLOR EFFECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide indigo-toned multicolor dyeable yarn composed of multi- component yarn which is given by using an acrylic fiber as a raw material, to provide an indigo-toned multicolor dyeable cloth obtained from the yarn, and to provide a method for effectively producing yarn having an indigo-toned multicolor effect.;SOLUTION: This indigo-toned multicolor dyeable yarn is obtained by subjecting slubbing formed out of a raw fiber (A) and the other slubbing formed out of a raw fiber (B) to a fine twisting process so as to form fine twisted union yarn, wherein the raw fiber (A) comprises a cationic dyestuff-dyeable acrylic staple fiber and the raw fiber (B) is prepared by mixing an acidic dyestuff-dyeable acrylic staple fiber and an acidic dyestuff-dyeable fiber having a hot-water shrinkage percentage of 3%, when measured after treated with hot water of 100C for 10 min, in a weight ratio of 3:7 to 7:3. The indigo-toned multicolor dyeable cloth is produced by using the yarn. The method for producing the yarn having the indigo-toned multicolor effect comprises dyeing the fine twisted union yarn by using a cationic dyestuff and an acidic dyestuff.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
