PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily vary the planting space of seedlings without exchanging a rotary wheel of a planting machine controlling the planting space of seedlings by the rotating period of the rotary wheel.;SOLUTION: A plurality of speed control rings 27-29 having different diameters are prepared beforehand. A speed control ring having optimum outer diameter for the planting space is selected from the rings 27-29 and wound around the circumference of a rolling wheel 15 rotating according to the moving distance of the machine body. The planting space of seedlings such as seed tubers 7, etc., is widened by increasing the outer diameter of the wound ring band 27-29 and narrowed by decreasing the diameter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
