Separating and setting device for planting machines separates substrate blocks supplied in magazine through rotary action for regularly spaced planting

The individual young salad and vegetable plants are provided in substrate blocks and planted individually whereby the plants are separated not linearly but through rotary action. The substrate blocks which run down in a conveyor (1) run into the shaft (2) of a magazine (3) where a single substrate block is placed and entrained by rotary action to be separated from the other blocks in the conveyor. The substrate block can leave the magazine perpendicularly downwards through a specially shaped opening to fall into a share.
