PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a hydrocarbon mixture separation, by which a zeolite-based separation membrane is used, the hydrocarbon mixture is stably and efficiently separated into a component rich in a straight-chain hydrocarbon and a component rich in a branched hydrocarbon without causing a decomposition and a chemical reaction and the hydrocarbons are obtained. ;SOLUTION: This method for hydrocarbon mixture separation using a zeolite- based separation membrane is characterized in that the zeolite-based separation membrane is provided with a zeolite thin film layer on the surface part of a porous substrate, the zeolite thin film layer has pores characteristic of zeolite crystal and pores with ≤10 nm pore diameter in a grain boundary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
