PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulating digital camera distribution system, a digital camera adapted to this system, and a commodity information provider. SOLUTION: The digital camera having a fixed digital picture recording part is forwarded as a rental or throwaway commodity, and the digital camera has parts replaced and is recycled and is forwarded again after digital picture information is read out from the digital camera returned from a customer 2 to a lending center 1 in order to print pictures or the like. Information such as the photographing condition, the ambient environment for photographing, the photographing time, distribution records and inventory records are read out also and are used for production adjustment, production stop, feedback to future machine types, etc. The digital camera has a first output terminal for exclusive use which cannot output electronic picture information to a data terminal and a second output terminal which can output electronic picture information to a monitor terminal. The use condition and the battery replacement date of the digital camera are recorded in an interchangeable housing. The commodity information provider records the request frequency of explanation for use and utilizes it for improvement of future machine types.
