PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine-taking guidance editing apparatus capable of editing a medicine-taking guidance, which is easy to looking at, also in case that there are a plurality of prescriptions on which no medicine has been prepared. SOLUTION: Prescription data is read from an IC card (step S3). When it is determined that there are a plurality of prescriptions on which no medicine has been prepared (in case of 'Y' at step S4), medicine-taking times for all of the medicines are referred (step S5), and the prescription data is classified according to medicine-taking time such as a time after a breakfast or a time after a lunch (step S6). After that, a medicine-taking guidance is edited by performing the processing of rearranging all of the data of the medicines so that the medicines are described by medicine-taking time (step S7). Thus, for example, the medicines to be taken at a time after a breakfast are described in one section, and thereby the medicines to be taken at a time after a breakfast can be seen at a glance.
