PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify procedures and to facilitate commercial transactions by displaying information having confidentiality, in an enciphered state together with normal information in the same open page and enabling only specified users to view the information having confidentiality. ;SOLUTION: A server 1 where an EC(electronic commerce) store 5 is opened publishes merchandise information of the EC store 5 and presents the information to user terminals 3 in the form of enciphering a portion of confidential information, including the sales prices and releasing the other information to the public in the same open page. The server 1, which has received merchandise purchase information and user information from a user terminal, 3 transmits to an unregistered user a registration number and a decoding means for the enciphered information, when the user information fits a fixed condition, transmits a signal for rejecting a transaction, when the user information does not match the fixed condition, and performs merchandise delivery and settlement, based on the purchase information with respect to an already registered user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
